Unfortunately, I was laid off just a week ago today. My son and I just found the perfect space too where the room was divided in 2 space and the cost was just as high I would have gone. This space was down a small hallway near the restrooms. The studio was painted white with one side mostly window, the other wall had those block windows that you would use in a bathroom but still let in a lot of natural light. This space also had its own heating and AC unit. Plus, this studio space comes with 4 or 5 times a year has an Art Walk, which means people looking at or for art to buy without having to advertise on your own.
But no need to worry, I still paint in the livingroom for now. Little by Little I will be cleaning out (throwing out) unneeded things (his) away in the garage. That will become my new art studio and its within walking distance and I dont have to worry about making sure I have food and water at the studio. I can even have a pot of coffee ready first thing in the morning. I really cant wait to get that set up. I am looking now for pieces that I can get later for my new studio in the summer of 2019.
I am back on the computer, so I hope to keep you all in the loop of what is next in this arting journey.
